Karan Kapoor is an Anglo-Indian – London-based – photographer, renowned for his polished, dynamic yet spontaneous style. Among many other projects (visit his website for more). In the late 1980s, Kapoor photographed Anglo-Indians in Bombay, Calcutta and Goa. These images were exhibited for the first time in The Photographer’s Gallery London in the early 1990s. The exhibit titled ‘An Economy of Signs: Contemporary Indian Photographs‘ was also published in 1990.
